Music was a part of his life from the beginning. The radio played around the clock.

This love for music only became stronger in the early nineties. Slobodan was amazed by the shrill nightlife and the colorful diversity of the club scene and became more and more enthusiastic about electronic music. He never lost his fascination with the art of the DJ and the hypnotic sounds, so Slobodan decided in 1992 to try it himself.

He started with some lackluster devices and only appeared in front of friends and family, but gradually he got his hands on professional devices such as Technics turntables, type 1210.

Through tireless practice, DJ Schwarzlicht has improved his skills on the record players and soon rocked some smaller parties.

Since there was always a need for new records, Slobodan and his brother came up with the idea of setting up their own record store.

A year later, this idea became a reality. With the help of the German franchise partner Humpty Records, a record store was opened in Vienna. Through a strong partnership and the advent of new labels and music genres, their store became a hotspot for DJs and music lovers of the scene.

Ten years later, the partnership ended, and after a short break, Straight Records (Online Record Store) was founded.

Throughout this time, DJ Schwarzlicht worked hard to improve his DJ skills, and was rewarded with numerous national and international bookings.

He is always looking for the perfect track and strives for high-quality mixes. Dj black light mixes consist of minimalist, groovy electronic music, sometimes house, always impulsive and above all danceable. DJ Schwarzlicht not only supports one style, but skillfully combines Minimal, House, Deep- & Tech House and Techno.

His motto: You need different ingredients for the perfect mix! Have a sense of rhythm, the right music selection, fun mixing and a connection to the audience! This motto consists of all its sentences.
